It’s Thursday and all the sites have the coupon previews out for review. This is the time when I start making my list for the deals for this coming week. I think to myself “hhmmmmm, time to match my deals”.
The Target by my home, in Lancaster, Ca, has rehabilitated their store to now include a full-fledged grocery section. I assume that is trying to compete with Super Target that is just a stone’s throw away in Palmdale.
The great part of this is in an effort to inform us of their alterations, they have sent out these mailers with beautiful pictures of their store but most importantly……….COUPONS !!!! Yay.
Please note that these are Target coupons which means they CAN BE STACKED with a manufacturer coupons. AWESOME
Do you think the show Extreme Couponing on TLC is an accurate depiction of how you shop? Do you think they really shop like that? Do you notice that they almost ALWAYS say “this is going to be my biggest haul ever”? Why would they create such a frenzy for shopping experiencing that are not true to their real shopping habits?
I went to Walmart last night and had quite an adventure which turned out to be quite a savings. Walmart’s price matching policy was tested well by myself and fellow blogger LS from savinitup.com. Walmart, for now, will match competitors advertised prices. This includes the “after ecb or register rewards” price as long as it is posted in the sales paper (although the commercials state there is no sales ad needed). I recommend that if you are price matching multiple items, have your sales paper handy just in case. I will later give a detailed account of my trip but for now, know that I got 65 items for…………….. $9.08
