Not everything is always free
I went shopping the other day with LS from Savin’It-Up and another friend(hi Jesse). We went on our weekly end of the week shopping trip. One of our usual stops is Walmart where we price-match from all our other local stores. This week, I needed alot of staples that just so happen to be on sale at other stores and I did NOT have a coupon for most of them. This made my OOP a little high for my taste but understandable. I wanted you guys to know that you don’t ALWAYS get EVERYTHING for free. Especially in California. Yes I do get lots of free, or very close to free stuff ALOT, but sometimes, that’s just not possible. The key is getting them as low-priced as possible. For me, that means price-matching and using coupons on top of it. I’m sorry I didn’t get a better pic. I was so tired, I left the groceries on the floor for a while and when I came back, my mom had started putting them up but this is what my haul looked like bagged up.
Don’t be fooled. That basket holds alot. And there is lot on the floor. I wish i could report that all of this was free, but i can’t. I paid about $56 for everything. Of course you can’t see what it all is but it includes, but limited to:
28 boxes of Pasta, breakfast sausage, 2 loaves bread, 2 jars of peanut butter, 12 bottles of pasta sauce, 6 boxes of koolaid jammers, lots of fruits and veggies, and much more stuff I can’t remember right now. It was a total of 98 ITEMS for less that $56 dollars. I consider that a good deal even if some don’t.
