Building good relationships with your local cashiers, neighbors, and mail carriers can all help to increase your coupon savings.  Today let’s talk about Cashiers.

Your cashiers can be your biggest allies…….or opponents.  But you want them on your side.  A good relationship with your cashiers can be the difference between an easy, happy shopping experience and an awful experience.  He/she can push through questionable or non scanning coupons without question cause they know  you.  They can price match your items without question.  You won’t be met with attitude about having alot of items and coupons for each of these items.  Trust me, knowing the cashiers is awesome.  And easy to do.  You are there all of the time.  Find a nice one try to go to him/her all of the time. When you talk to them use their name.  Ask them about their day.  Tell them about a good sale that their store is having but that they may not be aware of. Just get the conversation going.  Also, thank them for doing a good job.  They get so many rude customers all day, it becomes a blur.  But they tend to somewhat remember the super nice ones. And if you remember their names and walk by their register and say hello before you start your shopping, it helps to cultivate the relationship.
